The Asian Adult Adoptees of British Columbia (AAABC) is western Canada’s first adult adoptee organization. AAABC is a Vancouver based non-profit organization run by adult adoptees of Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese descent. Members are 19 years of age or older and live throughout the province of British Columbia. AAABC is dedicated to creating a community of Asian adult adoptees working together to recognize the differences and commonalities in our histories, cultures and traditions. Members of AAABC discuss and learn from one another in monthly events, as well as work with young adoptees and adoptive families. AAABC looks forward to a future with an active community at both local and global levels.
